BOLD-shop-in-shops For bece Bringing Smart Home Solutions to Life
Bece’s BOLD shop-in-shops are interactive experience modules that introduce consumers to the ease and comfort of a smart home. The setups combine smart window coverings with integrated lighting, music, and controls, making the benefits of connected living instantly tangible. This design was created by one of the two founders of Berends Sebastiaan while employed by B&C International.
Over 100 Shop-in-Shops Installed in the Netherlands
To date, more than 100 shop-in-shops have been installed in the Netherlands. In addition, Bece is expanding internationally: the BOLD modules are now also being installed in Denmark, Norway, and even in Wisconsin, USA.
A key design challenge was to give the shop-in-shop a sleek, Scandinavian look without exceeding the set budget. Thanks to smart material choices and a well-thought-out design, that balance was successfully achieved.
Interactive Experience
The modules are also connected to a user-friendly app, allowing consumers to control the smart features directly. This integration enhances the interactive experience and demonstrates how easy it is to manage a smart home through a single central platform.
